Kirk Kazazian founded Kazazian Asset Management, LLC in 2005 to enable him to invest outside money alongside his own funds in a single pooled investment vehicle. Kirk has 20 years’ experience investing in global equity markets, having started his finance career as a proprietary trader with Heartland Securities in 1996 and then subsequently as portfolio manager of Kazazian Capital Fund, LP and Kazazian Capital Offshore Fund, Ltd. Kirk specializes in combining fundamental research with tactical trading to identify situations where there are disconnects between investor perception and value. Kirk graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and received an MBA in Finance with honors from Columbia Business School in 2005. Kirk is a CFA charterholder.
Tom Tang currently manages the healthcare portfolio for Kazazian Capital Fund, LP. He is the founder and portfolio manager of Moose Hill Fund I, LP, a long/short biotech fund. Previously, Tom worked at BAM Capital, Jennison Associates LLC and Prospector Partners as a healthcare analyst/consultant. Tom has worked as a healthcare analyst covering global healthcare stocks including drug, medical device, and services companies. Tom graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. He received a PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Wisconsin—Madison. Tom completed his postdoctoral research at Yale University. Tom holds an MBA from Cornell’s Johnson School of Management.
Bill Kearney comes to Kazazian Asset Management from Virgo Investment Group, a Private Equity Firm headquartered in California, where he was a member of the Operations Team. Prior to Virgo, Bill was a Fund Controller at Standish Management (“Standish”), a boutique private equity fund administration and accounting consulting firm in Boston, MA, providing consulting services for private equity and venture capital clients. Prior to Standish, Bill was in the Asset Management practice at PwC in Boston. While at PwC, Bill managed financial statement assurance engagements with specialization in private equity and venture capital clients. Bill is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts. Bill graduated with a BA in Economics from Hamilton College and received his Master’s in Accountancy and MBA from Northeastern University.
